It is a pity that that some others in this world will not or cannot take a break as well.
Wars continue unabated.

10. Democratic Republic of the Congo
11. Ethiopia
12. Cameroon

14. Israel/Palestine
Most of these are what we call civil wars, but many of them involve or are instigated by external parties. I'm sure the list goes on, but that's enough to start with.
Since the Ukraine/Russia war is an isolated case ie Russia invaded Ukraine, it probably receives more attention. And it is in Europe.
I cannot understand why Ukraine is not being allowed to use the weapons it has been given in the manner for which they have been designed. The West is being shown for what it is, untrustworthy. Why would any country that has been led to believe that the West is on its side, take any notice or comfort in the so called support of the West? Has anyone notice that all the advances of consequence that Ukraine has made, have happened without the formal counsel of its western allies. I for one would not like having to rely on the support of the USA, UK, France or Germany.
I'm not an American citizen so I can't vote, but if I was, I wouldn't vote for Trump ( narcissist) or Biden ( paradoxical) I hope Harris is more decisive than previous democrat presidents.
As for the war in Israel/Palestine, I do not know what the answers is, but I do not believe it is a 2 state solution, at least not in its proposed/current iteration. Israel's continued support for the expansion of settlements in the West Bank, its purported anti-terrorism operation in the West Bank and its continued bombing of Palestinians in Gaza does nothing but deepen the hatred for Israel and its citizens. Hamas deserves nothing but its complete annihilation for its attacks of October 7th 2023 and its use of Gazan civilians as a human wall, but surely a nation of Israels sophistication can come up with a better way? (mind you, Oct 7th was not the first time Israelis have been surprised by its enemies. Will heads roll this time?)
As has been shown by recent events, no hostage will be left alive if Netanyahu remains in power. Indeed Israel itself may face destruction if Netanyahu remains in power, as even the West may left with no option but to withdraw it support for Israel.
