Putin's apparent belief that hitting a shopping center and residential buildings with missles would be an effective way to get NATO countires to back off shows a profound lack of understanding of the spirit that underlies free people.

I have to think that at some point, the Russian/Chinese alliance will fall apart, right? I know that birds of a feather/dictators flock together, like Putin and Jinping, but these two countries have never gotten along and almost went to war in the 1960s, if memory serves correctly. China has long had its eyes on the vast natural resources in Siberia, and it is still a festering wound in Beijing that back in the 19th Century, it was forced to cede the Amur Basin and Vladivostok to Russia.
