It is about time that NATO members got the proper kind of weapons into Ukrainian hands and stepped up the sanctions. There are many more non-Russians out there who should be sanctioned as well.
(However, not sure about the picture of that John Deere tractor in the Black Sea towing the Moskva!)
We are sending howitzers to help because they can shoot smart or dumb shells. Have you seen the remarkable shooting that the Ukies have been doing? Not because of brilliant artillery work but because of smart and integrated systems.
Canadian gunners can hit a designated window in a building at 18 miles – so can the Ukies.
Imagine being a “painted” tanker – that’s why you see them fleeing their tanks before they are being hit.
To be a good ground attack the Russians will need low level air support in an open area– stingers!
Without air support their armoured columns – well Ukie farmers will have a big crop this year !
I have been wrong from the outset as to what the Russian Government and Putin might be willing to do. Given nearly 20% of Ukraine's population are Russian, and corruption is rampant in this poor Nation, this simply adds to the complexity. Zelensky's troops are facing the enemy while another enemy is within and coming from behind. I should research who makes Military Weaponry in my Country. Guessing they have added a shift or two. All the while, the people everywhere simply want to live in Peace. The fact that temperatures are getting warmer, some nearby Nato countries will for a spell, need less Petroleum products from Russia. I hope that helps.
