Nice article things will get better with drones when they develop better batteries that fly longer. But there is a dark side to the drones from terrorists and criminals that hack. Problem is drones can be used as bombs in the wrong hands. Governments are going to have to come up with better rules for the sky. You don't want bought drones flying into public places with a bomb. There are very huge benefits to drones but it comes with a dark side.

I see the possibilities - however, the safety & 'security' really troubles me. At least a car is on the ground voluntarily - anything in air/sky faces a 'gravity' pull. Having drones fly over my property has also been a REAL issue for me - people using them to 'spy' on others? Hmm - will watch with great interest. Great article Diane - futuristic
I have concerns about both safety (clogging up the skies in big cities) and security (spying, bombing etc). I'm not thrilled. It's also taking away jobs from humans ultimately.
I too am concerned with the inevitable downside of this. Not only by the criminal element but also the government, as you can be sure that all these commercial drones will have cameras focused on the ground and big brother will be watching us 24/7/365.
I have a summer cottage, and if I ever hear a drone flying over my property, out comes the pellet gun!
