Interesting position that Russia has taken--"We can attack you in your country whenever we want, but you can't respond in any way on our territory."

I'm no military historian, but I don't think that that's the way war works................

What incredible resilience the Ukrainians possess & demonstrate on so many levels.

Ukr will NEVER give up an inch to Russia - to give up anything would mean defeat - UKR knows the result of that - their demise as a free country. Once NATO gets that in their heads (Germany has stalled that - as well as France) - the war will be won BY UKR - period. No option on that issue.

Zelensky and you, Diane Francis, KNOW that Russia's word is never good. This talk of negotiations always feels to me like that of the Serpent. How amazing that Vlodymyr Zelensky is as wise and as tough as he is--but comedians often reveal a quick sharp awareness and have had to develop real courage just to work in a field where you are only repeatedly successful if you are right on target!

If the Nuclear plant gets shut down, it will be a Game changer, but I’m not sure how much revenue Russia would lose. Whereas if Ukraine prohibited the transit of NGas or petroleum from Russia to Europe in one of 3-4 pipelines that cross their soil it would cause some Putin allies in Russia to reconsider their position.
