A fascinating insight to yet another aspect of this war.

I am a Starlink customer, having a dish for a small seasonal home in a rural area, and although it is expensive, it works extremely well!

Good for Musk to keep supporting Ukraine, but I wish these Billionaires could park their egos and smart phones once in a while. Create your tweet or email when it comes to mind, but don't send it right away. Come back to it an hour, or 12 hours, later before doing that. It can save grief later on.

Of course that never happens anymore in our "Immediate Satisfaction" world. (I still blame the pizza delivery folks for that when, decades ago, some marketing guy came up with "30 minutes or its free!")

Vlad Vexler, a political philosopher whom I also find knowledgable, interesting and helpful for understanding--like our host Diane --once mentioned that Elon Musk is on the autism spectrum. This implied to me that though he excels in the tech sphere, he is short on empathy and relationship abilities. Good at one thing and not another--like so many of us. Most of us do have empathy though and so my be bewildered, confused or just at odds with those who lack it, whether in part as with those “on the spectrum”, or entirely as with psychopaths.

Elon Musk is unquestionably a forward-looking tech genius (or he promotes them, anyway), but I trust him about as far as I could throw him.

US warned Russia not to attack satellites it will hold them accountable. China also a problem. https://www.spacewar.com/reports/US_to_hold_Russia_accountable_if_satellites_attacked_WHouse_999.html

Too spooky a Halloween column for me.

maybe if Russia gave up all their satellites first ( a show of good faith?) then Ukraine might consider. (Sarcasm)

Thank you Diane,

Russia / Putin need to clearly understand that any Star Wars attach on Western democracies in space is our RED LINE and immediate action will be the result with attacks both in space and on our planet.

Why is Russia still part of the UN and with veto power in the Security Council? What am I missing here?
