I fail to see (and brace for a barage of heated explanations) why holding a virtual International Earth Day Summit will cause a super and irreversible shift of attention away from the vile Putin and Xi Jinping efforts to annex as much of the free world as possible. Stopping the tyrants and climate change are not mutually exclusive, Biden wasn't born yesterday, and his team is seasoned, smart and tough.
The only way Biden will be able to settle down Putin and Xi at this summit during private discussions, will be to ask Donald Trump to attend and handle those discussions for him. Biden couldn't hold team discussions in a playground!
Biden is seen as weak ( A Chamberlain) , Trump was an unknown ( an unhinged Churchill). So now we go to war over Ukraine and Belarus, and maybe Taiwan. It is now time to push when the US and the EU is weak. It is a David and Goliath situation but with no David and no sling!. What on earth do we do , you ask ?
